While In Armed Services Walz Has Affair With Chinese Spy According To Reports

Governor Tim Walz’s alleged past romance with a high-ranking CCP official’s daughter while in China has ignited fresh national security concerns, casting new scrutiny on his military record and ties to the Chinese government.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz faces renewed scrutiny following reports of a romantic relationship he allegedly had with the daughter of a high-ranking Chinese Communist Party (CCP) official during his time teaching English in China in 1989. The revelation, first reported by the *Daily Mail*, has sparked concern among military veterans and national security experts over potential security vulnerabilities, given that Walz was a member of the U.S. military at the time and maintained contact with the woman after returning to the U.S.

According to national security guidelines, members of the U.S. military, particularly those with security clearances, are required to report foreign contacts, especially those involving intimate relationships, to prevent potential risks like blackmail or espionage. Philip Reichert, a former U.S. Army intelligence analyst, emphasized the seriousness of Walz’s alleged actions: “Tim Walz’s affair raises both practical security concerns and ethical concerns… Clearance holders must report foreign contacts and relationships, and his relationship could have exposed him to CCP influence.”

As reports continue to surface about Walz’s repeated trips to China, former intelligence officials point to additional questions regarding his security clearance and the lack of documentation surrounding his abrupt military retirement in 2005. Some veterans suggest that Walz’s trips may have impacted his clearance status or led to his unexpected discharge. Former National Guard members also pointed out that Walz had allegedly misrepresented his military record multiple times.

Senator Marco Rubio, a staunch China hawk, raised questions on social media, saying, “If you aspire to be Vice President of the United States, voters deserve to know everything about any and every link you have to the CCP.” House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer also expressed concern, hinting that Walz’s relationship with Chinese contacts could suggest “infiltration” by the CCP aimed at influencing state or national decisions.

With Walz’s retirement record sealed by the National Guard, speculation remains as to the full extent of his relationship with China during his military service and beyond. The House Oversight Committee is investigating the matter, with Comer’s committee already releasing internal DHS communications discussing potential CCP influence campaigns targeting Walz’s office.
