Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign hits early turbulence as a new Rasmussen poll shows former President Donald Trump leading by seven points in a head-to-head matchup.
Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign launch has already hit a snag. The Harris campaign received troubling news today with the release of the latest Rasmussen survey. With Harris replacing President Joe Biden as the Democratic Party candidate, former President Donald Trump now leads by seven points in his bid to return to the White House. The poll's margin of error is only 2 percentage points.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that, in a two-way matchup, 50% of likely U.S. voters would vote for Trump, while 43% would vote for Harris. Four percent say they’d vote for another candidate, and three percent are undecided.
