Trump Now Take Money Race Lead as Well

In a surprising twist for the 2024 presidential race, the Trump campaign has surged ahead in both critical battleground state polls and fundraising, setting the stage for an unprecedented challenge to incumbent President Joe Biden.

In a stunning development, the Trump campaign has taken the lead not only in polling across critical battleground states but also in fundraising. Historically, incumbent presidents are rarely outpaced by their challengers, yet President Joe Biden now faces such a challenge.

The Republican National Committee (RNC), an allied super PAC, and the Trump campaign collectively reported a massive fundraising haul exceeding $170 million by the end of May, bolstered by contributions following Trump's Manhattan business records trial.

Driven by his loyal supporters, former President Trump’s campaign coffers for the 2024 race have surged, while President Biden’s team raised around $85 million, according to the Washington Post.

Federal Election Commission reports filed on Thursday highlighted the financial standings of both candidates, underscoring the potential for a dramatic shift in the presidential race.

This marks the second consecutive month that Trump supporters have out-fundraised Biden’s team, with a $25 million advantage in April, as Trump narrows the gap in overall campaign funding.

The criminal charges seemed to have galvanized Trump's support base, both before and after the trial.
