Trump Immunity WIN!

In a landmark decision, the U.S. Supreme Court has granted former President Donald Trump limited immunity from criminal prosecution for actions taken while in office, potentially delaying any trial until after the 2024 election.

On Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of former President Donald Trump, deciding in a 6-3 vote that presidents have limited immunity from criminal prosecutions for actions taken while in office. The Court also determined that a president is entitled to a pretrial hearing on immunity, which can be appealed to the Supreme Court before a trial begins.

This decision implies that any trial involving the former president will occur after the November 5, 2024, election. The case will now be sent back to a lower court, likely leading to the dismissal of some or all charges against the former president in federal court in Washington, D.C., related to the January 6 Capitol riot.
