Speaker Mike Johnson Urges Supreme Court Intervention Following Trump's Guilty Verdicts

In the wake of former President Donald Trump's guilty verdicts on numerous felony counts in New York, Speaker Mike Johnson has called for the Supreme Court to step in, voicing concerns about the integrity of the U.S. justice system.

Speaker Mike Johnson expressed his belief that the Supreme Court should intervene following the guilty verdicts against former President Donald Trump on numerous felony counts in New York.

"I do believe the Supreme Court should step in," Johnson stated during an appearance on Fox News' "Fox and Friends" on Friday. "I think they'll set this straight, but it's going to take a while."

Johnson also commented on the justices of the Supreme Court, saying, "I know many of them personally, and I think they're deeply concerned about the public's faith in the U.S. justice system."

Trump must first be sentenced, after which he is expected to appeal his New York conviction, a process that could take months or even years to move through the court system.
