Nevada Voter Lists Are a Major Problem

In the 2022 midterms alone, 95,556 ballots were dispatched to undeliverable addresses. Among these were commercial addresses falsely listed as residential, a clear violation of state law mandating registration at one's actual place of residence.

The persistence of numerous dubious addresses on Nevada's voter rolls is raising serious concerns, particularly as the state gears up for another crucial election. Despite the close scrutiny expected in a rematch of the contentious 2020 presidential race, it seems that officials in this pivotal swing state are turning a blind eye to the problem.

One alarming aspect is the automatic mailing of ballots to all active registrants on the voter rolls, making it imperative to ensure accuracy and integrity. This issue has been spotlighted in a compelling investigative video by the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF), shedding light on the extensive list of flawed addresses.

The video showcases PILF investigators' efforts to verify data from the Nevada secretary of state's office, revealing that in the 2022 midterms alone, 95,556 ballots were dispatched to undeliverable addresses. Among these were commercial addresses falsely listed as residential, a clear violation of state law mandating registration at one's actual place of residence.

Venturing into various establishments in Las Vegas, PILF representatives encountered perplexed reactions from employees who were supposedly registered voters according to the flawed rolls. From casinos to post offices, and even jails, individuals were listed at addresses where they clearly did not reside.

The absurdity of these situations is underscored by instances such as a bartender being asked about residents named Ronald or William Phelps, only to respond with bemusement as they clearly don't live at the establishment. Such discrepancies highlight the gravity of maintaining election integrity, particularly in a state where accusations of inflated voter registration numbers and lax ballot counting procedures loom large.

As recent reports indicate, the counting of ballots received after the supposed end of voting in 2022 raises further concerns. In Clark County, nearly 40,000 late-arriving mail ballots were counted, comprising a significant portion of the total count. Similarly, in Washoe County, the extended ballot count accounted for a notable percentage of the overall votes cast.

These revelations underscore the urgent need for action to address the systemic issues plaguing Nevada's voter rolls and ensure the integrity of future elections.
