Harris’ visit to Wisconsin, where she held her first campaign rally since becoming the presumptive Democratic nominee following Joe Biden’s exit from the race, prompted these reactions. MSNBC has identified Wisconsin as a critical battleground state.
“She’s worse than Biden,” one voter told MSNBC’s Elise Jordan. “She’s clueless about the border issue she was supposed to manage.”
The group emphasized Harris’ failure as the border czar, a position assigned to her by Biden in March 2021. Despite being touted as “the most qualified person” to handle the border crisis, Harris has overseen a historic surge in illegal migration and a tragic rise in migrant deaths and disappearances. Under her watch, over ten million illegal migrants entered the U.S., with many convicted of serious crimes, including child rape and murder. Harris has avoided meeting with U.S. Border Patrol chiefs and has advocated for decriminalizing border crossings.

“I think she’s an idiot,” said Mary, one of the interviewees. “She’s done nothing significant in her three years in the White House. She’s not competent.”
