Schlapp argued that Biden’s leadership has alienated core segments of the party’s base, driving them toward conservatism and, more specifically, to former President Donald Trump.
Schlapp pointed to several key issues that he believes are causing discontent among traditional Democratic voters. "The Biden administration has abandoned working-class Americans, embraced radical policies, and failed to address the real concerns of everyday people," Schlapp said. He cited soaring inflation, skyrocketing gas prices, and the administration’s inability to secure the southern border as significant factors in the shift.
