Harris Still Claims Biden Is Competent

Kamala Harris stood by her defense of President Biden's leadership during a CNN interview, declaring she has "no regrets" about backing his fitness for office, even after his exit from the 2024 race.

In a Thursday interview with CNN, Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris stood firm in her defense of President Joe Biden’s fitness for office, despite his withdrawal from the race.

When asked by CNN's Dana Bash if she had any regrets about vouching for Biden’s capacity to serve another term, Harris was unwavering. "No, not at all," she said. "Serving alongside President Biden has been one of the greatest honors of my career. He cares deeply about the American people and possesses the intelligence, commitment, and judgment that our country deserves in a president."

Harris contrasted Biden’s leadership with that of former President Trump, praising Biden's qualities and expressing pride in running for president alongside Tim Walz. She emphasized that their campaign aims to "turn the page" on the past decade and offer Americans a new way forward.

"I believe history will show that Joe Biden's presidency was transformative in many ways," Harris added.
