Harris Border Policies Under Scrutiny As Illegal Immigrant Charged In Philly Shooting Spree

As scrutiny over Vice President Kamala Harris's border policies intensifies, a confirmed MS-13 gang member and illegal immigrant from El Salvador has been charged with a violent shooting spree in Philadelphia, highlighting growing concerns over border security and public safety.

As Vice President Kamala Harris faces mounting criticism over her border policies, an MS-13 gang member and illegal immigrant from El Salvador has been charged with opening fire on moving vehicles in Philadelphia.

"An illegal immigrant is facing up to eight counts of attempted murder after shooting at multiple passing vehicles," WLBT reported.

Philadelphia Police Captain Desmond Jones stated that 39-year-old Fredy Antonio Amaya-Marin fired at random vehicles without a clear motive. When arrested, he had been using the alias Jonathan Salvador, and authorities only uncovered his true identity through fingerprinting by Homeland Security. Amaya-Marin, previously deported in 2007, had illegally reentered the country.

Further investigation revealed that Amaya-Marin is a confirmed MS-13 gang member, a violent international criminal organization. In addition to the attempted murder charges, he now faces federal charges for illegal reentry and possession of a firearm by an illegal alien.

Captain Jones emphasized that Amaya-Marin will be held by Homeland Security ICE pending deportation. "We will continue to collaborate with state and federal agencies to eliminate gangs like these that wreak havoc on our communities," Jones stated.
