CNN's Berman Brings Back Trump Loves Hitler

In a striking exchange on CNN, Democratic strategist Aisha Mills accused former President Donald Trump of harboring dangerous admiration for Adolf Hitler, warning that his rhetoric could lead to dire consequences for marginalized groups in America.

CNN's John Berman hosted a heated discussion Monday featuring Democratic strategist Aisha Mills, who made alarming claims about former President Donald Trump, alleging that he admires Nazis and Adolf Hitler. Mills accused Trump of harboring a “sinister philosophy” that could lead to dangerous outcomes, saying he might attempt to “exterminate an entire group of people.”

During the segment, Berman played a clip of Trump discussing “bad genes” in the context of illegal immigration. Mills reacted strongly, stating, “We have long known that Donald Trump has revered the Nazis, he has revered Hitler.” She cited Trump's comments and past behavior as evidence of his dangerous ideology, warning that his rhetoric could incite violence similar to historical genocides.

In response to accusations of aligning with Hitler, Trump denied ever reading *Mein Kampf* and rejected claims that he admires the dictator. He stated, “First of all, I know nothing about Hitler. I’m not a student of Hitler. I never read his works.” He dismissed the criticism as “disinformation” from those who oppose him.

Despite facing two assassination attempts, Trump remains a polarizing figure. A recent New York Times/Siena College poll revealed that he and Vice President Kamala Harris are neck-and-neck among voters in key swing states regarding who they trust to handle democracy. The ongoing discourse around Trump’s comments and the allegations against him highlight the intense scrutiny he faces as the political landscape heats up ahead of the upcoming elections.
