Biden Approval Rating Hits New Historic Low

With plummeting approval ratings and a formidable resurgence from his opponent, President Joe Biden faces a critical juncture in his bid for reelection. As the 2024 election looms closer, the battle for political supremacy intensifies, with each candidate vying for a decisive edge in a high-stakes game of power and strategy.

President Joe Biden faced a significant dip in his approval rating, hitting an unprecedented low in a recent poll conducted by FiveThirtyEight.

With just under five months remaining until the 2024 election, Biden's approval rating plummeted to 37.4% as of Monday, as per the FiveThirtyEight average. This marks a stark decline from his previous lowest rating of just above 37.9% in July 2022.

In addition to his dwindling approval, Biden finds himself trailing behind former President Donald Trump in hypothetical match-ups, both nationally and in pivotal swing states. Amidst grappling with concerns over his age and fallout from the Israel-Hamas conflict, Biden is endeavoring to build a case for his reelection bid.

Throughout the election season, Biden and the Democratic National Committee have consistently outpaced Trump and the Republican National Committee in fundraising. However, in April, the RNC and Trump surpassed Biden and the DNC by $25 million, marking a pivotal shift in the election cycle. Following Trump's conviction in Manhattan, his reelection campaign experienced a significant surge, raising $54.8 million within 24 hours post-verdict. While the Trump campaign reported raising $141 million in May, there's no official statement from the Biden campaign regarding their fundraising efforts.
